With Masquerade Of The Macabre and Wintertide Wonders both releasing, lets check out the accompanying SRL list update to keep certain archetypes in check.
In the past few sets, Prometheus has seen an increase in his midrange power potential, with access to phenomenal DCM recovery, card recursion, and consistency. These three hits should keep the deck in check and within the boundaries of it's play patterns.
Strength Of Atlas has been an instant staple in any and every Titan deck as a consistent setup tool to find and revive any Titan Warrior easily. This is in part compounded by the existence of other similar pieces like Titans Tumble, giving Titans one of the most consistent generic engines available.
This hit should both limit the explosive potential of the new Rift Warriors available to the unbound realm, and also push Titan archetypes into focusing more on their more specific archetypal tools.
Hyperion, Supreme Light Of Arion is one part of the Arion sub-archetypal package that Primordials have access to. Hyperion specifically is once piece identified as being capable of performing various value loops and being an incredibly consistent setup piece for any key Arion eradication trigger effects, like with Treasures Of Arion.
With the amount of value Hyperion provides, this hit should limit the controlling potential of Prometheus.
The last Titan piece hit on this SRL list, Treasures From Arion is a significant recovery piece for both DCM, and cards in deck. With the ability of Prometheus to quickly eradicate their entire deck easily, Treasures is an incredibly consistent way to setup any choice cards in deck like Hyperion, Supreme Light Of Arion, and Gifts From Arion.
This hit should reduce the ability of Prometheus to repeatedly recover his DCM and to recur key cards for effectively free.
In the past few sets, Prometheus has seen an increase in his midrange power potential, with access to phenomenal DCM recovery, card recursion, and consistency. These three hits should keep the deck in check and within the boundaries of it's play patterns.
A card that's moved a few times in it's SRL placement, Replenishing Falls is a piece which both replaces itself, while recovering DCM when played before Veil Pierce, making it a piece primarily used in aggressive decks to both compound resources for effectively no cost. Additionally, Replenishing Falls pushes incredibly aggressive strategies in a more generic direction undermining both Bloodbourne Costs, and archetypal/legion card advantage sources.
While Replenishing Falls has moved a few times on the SRL list, here it has ultimately been Suspended for the time being.
One of two cards on this list seeing cost errata in Wintertide Wonders 2025, Fallen Fervor is going up one copy, which will support both general Fallen Onoskelis Demon lists, while also providing a bit more of an engine boost to some of the newer Demon Archetypes in Wicked and Hell-Plains.
While Demons haven't seen a drastic metagame fall off, they have been rather stagnant in the metagame, and this return should provide just a touch of support to existing and new archetypes to promote their position in the evolving metagame.
A card significantly hit by the cost errata in Wintertide Wonders 2025, Silduds Call Of The Orcbane will be going up to 3 copies, providing Sharn a notable push to her available engine. Sharn isn't a deck which has seen a significant weakening, but it has had less interest and attention in recent tournaments.
We'll have to see how this return, alongside the addition of the new Sildud, Caller Of The Horde, push both versions of Sharn to be consistent metagame competitiors.
