Patrick Watt
Sharn Aggro is one of the most prominent aggro decks in Legions. This is hugely based on their ability to quickly make a board of warriors and boost them up for large damage, while also being able to deal with and push through any potential Fortified Cards your opponent may have with a wide variety of resources and the ability to keep generating advantage.
Wartorn Vs. Boars
The main difference between the two decks is their staying power, and explosive power. Wartorn has much more in the way of continuous interactive tools like Orcbane Wildness and Headhunting In The Wasteland, while Boars has more tools to dig quickly like Desolation Outpost Of The Outer Rim, and easier access Rampage to push in damage.
Mulligan Tips:
With either Orc Archetype, you'll be looking for a few key starters: Sildud's Call Of The Orcbane, Reservoirs Of Revival Ooze, Zelfor'Tork's Orcbane Feeding Frenzy, and Mogak, The Orcbane Cavernbreeder all offer strong starting card advantage.
If going second, We Bleed For This and any unified Negates are also strong pickups.
Boars: If you're playing boars, you have a lot more strong opening pieces thanks to Desolation Outpost Of The Outer Rim and Outer Rim Exclusion Zone.
Early Tips & Playlines
With your post-mulligan ability, conscripting Mogak is ideal for the card draw, but any Warrior you can put into play is relevant for Feast with Zelfor'Tork, The Fatal Frenzy.
Reservoirs Of Revival Ooze is an incredibly important part of the deck's card advantage with the ability to tutor and continuously revive Warriors into play. With the first ooze of the game, you're almost always sending a Lambug, Gatherer Of The Orcbane, Zelfor'Tork, The Fatal Frenzy, and Mogak, The Orcbane Cavernbreeder.
In your early setup you're looking to find some important Fortified pieces which help keep your opponent behind while you push in early aggression. Duxvox Doomdrill, Malicious Bloodbath, and For The Love Of Carnage are some great pickups. If you're playing Boars, Pits Of The Outer Rim is also incredibly strong for destroying your opponent's backline.
Wartorn: Sildud's Call Of The Orcbane is incredibly powerful in any build of Sharn, tutoring out copies of Pride Of The Orcbane for early value. In Wartorn it gets even better with access to Orcbane Wildness as a powerful source of negates when going second.
Boars: Compared to Wartorn, you'll be wanting to more aggressively loop your Reservoirs Of Revival Ooze to constantly pump Warriors into the discard pile to power up Temple Of Duskzog for some early and deadly burst damage.
"Late" Tips & Playlines
Sharn isn't really built to go late, and a key goal of the deck is pushing in damage early. This makes it easier to deal the final blow, while also more heavily taxing their Bloodbourne costs to limit what they have access to.
Gluronk, The Sinister Spite is great for keeping your boardstate exactly where it is, helping to make your boards more continuously threatening by being much more difficult to remove.
Matt Waller
Putrid is a strong reactive control deck amongst the undead legion. It is focused on denying and locking out your opponent to allow you to either find or force an opportunity in which you can strike. Putrid can be built a variety of ways but the main goal is to stunt your opponent's value while pushing in for a lot of little bits of damage to overwhelm them, giving them too many resources to deal with where they are forced to make tough decisions with the little value they have.
Mulligan Tips:
For your opening hand, it vastly depends on the guardian that you are playing, if you aren't playing Meg'saria, Princess Of Lost Souls, you are going to be looking for an an opening way to see Putrid Infestation Sentinel, Horrix, such as Mal'ady's Putrid Burial Ground, Putrid Infestation, or Putrid Eruption Bloom.
If you are playing Meg'saria, Princess Of Lost Souls you are going to be looking for more ways to make value out of Horrix for draw power but also ways to be able to set up your defensive lines such as, nothing left but putrid plague, Mal'ady's Putrid Mausoleum or Putrid Acidic Rain. Note: the previous mentioned starters are also strong, Meg'saria just gives you a more consistent start with Horrix.
Early Tips & Playlines
Early game you want to set up your Asphyxia, The Putrid Silencer to be able to suffocate as soon as you can while also setting up the negate power to lock them down and keep them locked down.
Some of the lock down pieces you are looking for are things like Denial By Doomfire which can be reset off of Nothing Left But Putrid Plague for negates from your bin once per turn, Deaths Doorstep to gain control of your opponent's perishes or Altar Of Affliction to slow them down for a turn.
If you are playing a more bounty heavy deck such as garden stax, this is where you want to work towards finding things like Majik Void Collapse, Majik Void Aurora or Twilight Magnolia.
Late Tips & Playlines
Late game you are looking for things like Malady's Putrid Mausoleum to kill everything instantly, Steadfast Courage to be able to boost your damage from decays, as well as Asphyxia's perish ability on the turn that you want to do the most damage, usually in conjunction with the other 2 for a max total of 11 damage per Corpse Flower that you make.
