With this deck being an introductory product which contains multiple key Bounty cards for a variety of archetype, we wanted to use this release as a platform to change the game play of these two specific cards.

Mists From The Fata Morgana

• • Mists has continuously been an incredibly crucial component of the metagame as an effect providing a full-turn of protection from damage, with the ability to recycle cards back into your deck, including itself. The ability for Mists to loop itself has been continually concerning, especially with previous examples of free bounty recycle effects leading to game stalls and lock-outs, as was seen with Alburdunn's Trader District.

  • While we still wanted Mists From The Fata Morgana to act as a generic recovery piece against eradication effects like Topaz Amulet, The Twilight Gardens, and Black Magic Ritual Site, we've decided to remove the ability for Mists to shuffle cards back from discard to move it more in-line with other shuffle effects, and to emphasise legion-specific resource recovery tools.

  • The looping ability of Mists From The Fata Morgana has homogenised late game board states, where looping copies of Mists is an overwhelmingly key component of almost any late game. This change should reward and encourage more unique control tools available to each individual Legion and archetype.

Majik Wishing Well

• We've seen the broad Majik archetype find some success so far primarily in Marianas, where it's appeared alongside strong Majik Void tools and the Twilight package pieces. Despite the success here however, the archetype has found little to no success outside of this Warlord/Guardian combo. In the versions of the deck which currently exist, existing cards like Twilight Magnolia have been able to consistently offset the impact of Majik Wishing Well's (Consume 15) AP cost, which combined with the 80 AP of Sea Omen, Mollymawk, makes the cost of the card largely null.

• That being said, (Consume 15) has been a significantly more punishing restriction for decks not running the Twilight Package including Twilight Magnolia, or running a Guardian with less that 80 AP, such as Viviana, The Festival Royalty.

• As such, with more coming support for the Majik Mask and Majik Void archetypes, we have removed the Consume cost from Majik Wishing Well to hopefully allow the Majik archetype to flourish in a wider variety of deck archetypes and builds.

These Errata should not be regarded as precedent for larger future card Errata. With the unique nature of the Corsair Of Despair structure deck providing the first chance to reprint many meta-important bounty cards, we wanted to take the opportunity to alter these two key cards in anticipation of further printings and releases. Additionally, to ensure easy access to both of these cards, the Structure deck includes full legal playsets of both cards, and Mists From The Fata Morgana will continue to be seen in future Structure Deck products.
